Type of a scam Government Grant
The caller said that they were calling because my name was pulled from a list of people who file there taxes on or ahead of deadline, and that I have no criminal or federal charges against me, so the president wants to give me a grant that never has to be paid back worth $9,700.00. I told them to mail it to me in a cashiers check. They knew my name and address and age. I told them that I was reporting them to the ScamPulse.com for fraud, scam and harassment by phone. They said that was my right and gave me code and a phone number to call. so I called it gave the code and my name and told them that I was reporting them also. The person told me that they were closed for the day and to call back tomorrow with my code and they would release the grant. the names of the people were Jacob and Stacy they did not give any last names. they use two different business names in to different states. federal grant department in New York JE23649 and Health and human department in Washington D.C.
