Type of a scam Phishing
I rec’d a message on Messenger supposedly from a lady I know & it had her Facebook profile picture on it stating she rec’d $100,000 from this agency & my name was on the list. I was suppose to contact Cindy Allen who works for this agency to see if my name is still on the list to receive money. There was a link I was suppose to click on to contact this person. I suspected a scam but it did have my friend’s picture so I texted her to see if she had sent me the message on Messenger. She said she did not!!! A scam!!!
