A friend told me that she had seen my name on a Federal Financial Assistance (FFA) list. Then she gave me a telephone number to text a message for a name lookup. The number is for a location on Bainbridge Island, Washington. There is no federal agency on Bainbridge Island. I texted my full name and in 2 minutes got a reply that my name was on the list, but they needed more information in order to verify my ‘claim’. I have never applied for any federal funds. I was sent a list of personal data that they requested in order to proceed with the award. I declined to proceed.
