My 20-year-old daughter called received three calls from a Nicole Parker stating she was with the Fraud Enforcement Unit and was looking for regarding an S. Trevino case # 775349(which we thought may have been an uncle).
Ms. Parker left three voicemails (which we have saved) stating it was an aggravated assault complaint and my daughter needed to call back asap or have the family member call back asap under federal law. She then ended the phone call with " govern yourself and good luck". When I called back, I got her voicemail, so I left her a message and told her my daughter was not even 21 yet and had nothing to do with this and to call me back. Two weekdays later, I never received a callback, so I called again, and she answered. I asked her what it was regarding and she started yelling at me and said she didn’t know my daughter was a child and hung up on me twice.
I don’t know any Fraud Enforcement Units that make calls to minors without a valid investigation process much less make calls vs. sending official written letters.
