The caller said my social security card was being suspended for illegal activity. Person called herself a federal agent and gave me a badge number, case number, and warrant number. She continued by saying my name and social security number was found in a car that was apprehended for drug trafficking and money laundering. She asked me if said car or said address was mine and I said no. She then connected me with the agent in charge of the case and when I told him none of this makes any sense and I felt I was being scammed he hung up on me. I have received yet another such call and hung up on them. I went to police station to report this and they assured me that there were no warrants out for me.
