Type of a scam Online Purchase
I was searching to adopt a pug puppy. Came across this site familypug.com I was interested in one of the pug puppies and contacted the seller. They emailed me info and how to proceed including the info to send a money gram. I immediately felt uncomfortable with that as I work in a bank and see fraud all the time. I asked the seller to provide me with a picture of the pug from today along with a written note with my name and date. The seller did not do so and sent a video clip of the dog. I asked again for a pic with my name and date hand written. Seller said they would do that tonight. I decided to investigate online and did a google image search of the puppy. And if course I found the puppy on a legit site for a much greater amount along with other photos of puppies that this familypug used as their own. Along withthe video clip the person emailed me was on there. I sent an email. To the boutique that the pics were stolen from so they were aware as well. I don’t want anyone to fall victim to this scam. Thank you
