Type of a scam Online Purchase
The perpetrator is using the name "Rona Morro" and running a Craiglist scam whereby a UTV is advertised for a ridiculously low cost. Fair Market Value of a 2008 Polaris Ranger 700 UTV is $5000-6000 but is advertised by the scammer at $1000. Despite several requests the "seller" (scammer) will not provide their address or phone number. Their scam involves the victim sending a check to eBay On-line Services then it is processed and the vehicle is shipped and all are satisfied. I’ve seen several "too good to be true" vehicle scams advertised this way.
At this point they are asking me to confirm my address and start the eBay transaction. If you google the name, you’ll see other reports.
