Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
I got a phone call from 808-278-7029, a Lihue, HI number, offering to reduce my credit interest rate to 0-3%. There were multiple red flags. They said they were from Experian Credit bureau and kept referring to my Credit Profile. Then I was asked which of my credit cards had the highest debt (I only have 1 credit card). Then I was asked to verify the expiration date of said card to verify they were lowering the right credit card. Instead of giving this information over the phone, I asked them to verify it to me, since I am the cardholder. They hung up on me.
