Online advertisement for skincare product that Christie Brinkley uses. "Free trial" – for Clariderm eye cream and Clariskin skincare serum- you pay shipping only. BUT, then a month later you get a bill on your credit card for the full amount for each product. I called to tell them that the charges were NOT authorized, and they said "I did not read the terms" (HIDDEN?) They refused to accept the products back. They tried to make a deal about giving you a percentage back. I held strong and told them NO they would reimburse me for all of it. I said if not, I would call the BBB. He held at a percentage, so I hung up on him, saying "how can you live with yourself?" Immediately he called desperately and left a message on my home machine saying that he would reimburse me with the whole charges. Whether he will or won’t– we will see. BUT it was an obvious scam, and I don’t want anyone else to get "duped" !
