Type of a scam Tech Support
Received a call from this number. A womans automated voice states there is a problem with the IP address on the internet modem. The problem needs to be addressed and to press one for service. If you do not get service your internet modem will be permanently disconnected and you will not have internet service.
I hung up and called the number back from a landline office phone, after hitting several prompts for 1 for english , a broken english gentlman answered, you could hear it was an over seas call center by background noises. He answered the phone Extra Vitamin and explained I could not understand what he was saying and he repeated himself, I asked why he would be calling me and he replied I dont know. I then informed him i would be reporting the phone number to the BBB.
