Type of a scam Online Purchase
I came across this website that advertises "handmade jewelry from Costa Rica" yet it has a U.S. address, and when they deducted the amount from my account, it says "Hong Kong". As soon as my order was placed, the money was deducted from my account. That was months ago. I tried to find a tracking number, instead they give you an app to try to find your shipment. I tried to leave a message on the chat numerous attempts were met with, "We are busy, leave an email" I did and no answer. I called the number, no answer. I got an email days later, explaining the borders closed preventing the product from being delivered and that I should wait until it opens. There was no mention of a refund whatsoever. I went to try to request a refund from their website, only to be led on a rabbit trail to a dead end. They are keeping my money and not delivering the product, nor have they responded to my last email.
