A man in orange rang my doorbell. I answered and he introduced himself as an employee of "Eversource Energy" (I’m not sure if that was the exact name). I was immediately apprehensive, because my apartment complex does not allow solicitation. He had a clipboard in his hand with graphs on it. He asked to speak to the person of the house who payed the energy bill. I said that it wasn’t me and that the person who does pay the bill was not home. He asked when the bill payer would be home. I said I didn’t know and I wished him a good day. At that, he left. He was polite.
I watched him continue to go door-to-door. There was another man walking around doing the same thing. After a little while, they returned to a parked car. Two other men in dark clothing were standing by the car. All 4 men then got into the car and drove away.
