Type of a scam Employment
I received emails regarding a job opportunity with EverBright Greentech and they mentioned that they reviewed my resume on www.mitalent.org. I tried to search for the company name using talent connect but I could not find anything that would match the employer name. Also, I noticed that whenever an employer reaches out regarding a job opening the email is always from [email protected] but this one is using a gmail account. I searched for the company name and it is legitimate but I couldn’t find their office address in Michigan nor in the US. They also want me to download an app for the interview. The salary that they are offering seems too good to be true. I’m reaching out to you so that other people will not fall victim if this is truly a scam. I have attached screen shot of one of the emails I received. The true business address of Everbright Greentech is in Hong Kong but I’m not sure of the country of origin of this probable scam.
