Was to provide fresh fertilizer to my yard and "marathon" grass seed. They provided invoice and business cards for future contact. Paid by check. Never heard from them again, they were supposed to come back to finish the job.

Approached renter with offer of $7/bag of fertilizer. When asked for estimate completed all of the work, proceeded to spread 375 bags on lawn and THEN presented estimate of $2600+ Bait and switch operation with high pressure sales tactics. Legal term ‘officious intermeddler’.
Do not allow these individuals to do work on your home without written estimate BEFORE work completed.
