Type of a scam Utility
Caller said they were Eversource’s official supplier and were calling to ensure we would get an appropriate approved discount off our electric bill. Asked for account information. When asked for a call back they gave this number 866.786.3791. Did not share account information but did reply "Yes" to an initial question on whether I was the account holder so concerned this may also be a variant of the "Can you hear me now" scam.
