Received a warning on my computer that I was about to be hacked. Had a Microsoft number to call which then redirected to this Entricks Software number, They advised us to purchase their security software and asked for a check instead of credit card because we were dangerously close to being compromised. (can’t believe we fell for this.) Anyway we did purchase software for $199.99. Then realized we were scammed so froze account and cleaned up our computer.
Hope this helps to prevent other people from falling for this scam. Seems to be heavy in our area (iowa) as I have heard of several instances.
