Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received a check in the mail for Ebay /Walmart survey. Check was for $1967.00 telling me to deposit it in my bank account then purchase $1600.00 worth of ebay gift cards. Then scratch off the silver bar, capture images of the front and back of the cards and text or email the images. The remaining money is for me to keep for completing the task. I did not cash the check thank goodness and decided to investigate first. To good to be true is usually questionable at best!
