Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received an email that said dear applicant your application was approved please contact Mikael chad in the Hangout app. they said i was hired asked for my address to send a check so i can purchase the software to get started with the job. a work from home position. i received a check amount $2990.00 with a letter not professional at all and words many word misspelled. i received a hangout message that when i receive the check deposited and send a picture of the deposit slip and send to them. but never told me where i was suppose to go and purchase this software for this new job.
