Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
I looked at a vehicle (Buick Encore) at Carmax in Texas, and for the past 6 months I receive calls daily and letters in the mail weekly from "Vehicle Documentation/Alert Notice Personal and Confidential EWS Vehicle Services Division". When I try to tell the people over the phone that I have never owned a Buick Encore, they hang up on me. When I ask them to take me off their call list or I block their phone number, they will call me from a different number. I called the number on the letters I have received and asked them how they got my information. They said they get their information from various sources. I again asked to be taken off their list, the guy told me he would, but that there was no guarantee of not receiving future correspondence.
