I was a victim of a job scam by Emperra. I was contacted via CareerBuilder because that is where I had made my resume public. I was interviewed via Telegram and hired on the spot and was told to report the next day at 8am online since it was an at-home position. I was emailed letters including a welcoming letter and W-4 forms. I had sent out my information and that day I had an interview with a company called Pharma Packaging Solutions via Google Hangout and that was when I had my suspicions. Both companies had conducted their interviews the same way and were both at-home positions and offered money to send to me to buy the software. I had messaged Emperra saying that I was aware that they were scamming me and they deleted the messages I had with them as if it had never happened.
