I clicked on an ad for skin care products and ordered a "free" trial of face cream and eye cream, paying only the shipping. Buried far, far, far in the fine print was info that one had to cancel within 14 days or be charged $79.96 per cream per month. I never received any email contact and products arrived without any contact info on or in the package. When I finally tracked down how to reach the company (through my credit card statement, after I had been charged) I was told that my email was spelled wrong and it was my fault that I never received any information about my order. I don’t know how it can be my fault that there was no contact info in the package. They agreed to cancel my order, but would not refund money, even if I returned the unopened product.

The link from Facebook that said you get a free trial for $2.50 turned into monthly recurring charges of $79.96 that were not authorized. The confirmation e-mail from the initial order was completely blank. The business’s website now says "Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. Additionally, a 503 Service Unavailable error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." I called the only phone number I could find through Google search and they said they don’t sell the product. No way to cancel these charges because the company vanished.
