Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
Hi. I was called on the phone at my office by Roger and offered an " opportunity" to have an ad as a real estate agent in a new Elks travel guide that was coming out. Short story long, I gave him a check for $250 dollars and he sent me an ad to proof, a receipt and an invoice, etc. fast forward months later I start wondering when im going to see the ad. I call him, no answer. Follow up with everyone and yup, got scammed. I waited too long for the bank to help, and it wasn’t enough money for the police to care, so Im just trying to warn fellow dum dums. Im not sure how to attach to this email, but once somebody responds with an email address, I can forward everything.
