I was contacted by Dr Walker who claimed to be out of the country for medical services and was liquidating his 1960 Corvette for $33,000 through a company called Elk Horn Express Transport, however, when I started researching the company I found the exact same thing happened to another buyer for a classic buick on the ScamPulse.com so I am reporting the same. I also noticed that the spelling and font was not professional on the website and I still wondered why would anyone sell this car so low. Thank you BBB!

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I thought I was purchasing a classic car on line from a private seller. He in return instructed me to call the transport company holding the car to register with them. The seller said contact him after I have registered with the transport company. He will then have them send payment information via email. An email with instructions along with a PDF file with beneficiary payment wire transfer information was received. The transport company stated that the funds would remain in an escrow account until vehicle was delivered and I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep the car. If I decided to keep the car, payment would go to the seller. If not I would have the funds transferred back to my account. on April 25th the agent at the transport company called and told me the car would be delivered on Friday May 4th. He said the driver would call me when he was nearby. I made several attempts in the days prior to the delivery to confirm. All I have gotten was voice mail to the agent named Andrew with no call backs. There web page has a tracking option which also doesn’t seem to function as well. Support option doesn’t work either.
