Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received a message from L*** Davis regarding a work from home/part time job for Crisil, Inc. He sent me a check made payable to me via FedEx overnight. The check was made payable to me from Gordon Building Center out of Salsbury, MO. I was instructed to deposit this check to purchase software for the job. This check is real, but I called the payee and he said their bank accounts were hacked over a week ago. So therefor, the check was a scam. This L*** Clinton instructed me to go to Bank of America and deposit this check into an account for ELENDS NETWORK, LLC. and gave me their account number. I did not cash this check!
