Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Searched multiple websites and came across Corgi Precious yesterday 2-1-18 and was really happy at the cost of $700 for a corgi. They gave a phone number 6146692263 to text them if we would like any further information. Asked some questions regarding lifestyle and occupation and proceeded to give information of where to send a money order (Western Union). This person didn’t mention their name but there was a name for the money order to- Marvin Mason – Ohio address 1437 Stanley drive Columbus 43224 with different phone number 6146174030.
They were persistent about the money order which really made me suspicious of them. We(myself and husband)also asked to see the puppy today and they instantly were defensive about making a payment(reserve) first . Today 2-2-18 I googled how to know if a website is legit….I put photos they have on their website into google and found numerous images. .. the same photo. Red flag! Their URL is not protected or secure. They have another site different name ,same layout called Elegant corgi puppies. Also checked bbb and noticed somebody also reported the same websites. Very disappointed for not doing further research but I am happy that we did not go along with this scam precious corgi and elegant corgi puppies is fraudulent.
