On the evening of 5-17-17 I received a phone call from someone that said I needed to purchase Hacker Software to make sure I was security safe. This person said he had helped me in IT a couple of weeks ago and I said that may be true. He told me his name but I could not understand the dialect. So, I opened my computer and he got into my computer remotely and said it would take approximately 15 min for installation of the Hacker Software. At the time, I was thinking that the illustrations he showed me looked suspicious, data of a number of people using my computer. I paid $541.24 for this project. After I hung up the phone I started feeling very afraid. That night I was very tired and I must have had a meltdown as I feel that this was a definite scam and I should have reacted differently.
