Type of a scam Credit Cards
Received a letter delivered by USPS dated 07/19/18, "AUTO**ALL FOR AADC 530," on 07/22/18.
Letter claims that my "current credit card will be closed as of September 21, 2018." and that I must send payments to: Card Member Services, P.O. Box 790408, St. Louis, MO 63179-0408.
I telephoned the number listed on the letter, 1-800-242-4271, but could get no explanation of why this letter was sent to me.
Please investigate this scam, which may be directed at elderly consumers, and advise me of your findings.
