I paid Edward Deforge of Granville, Ma $2,500 to purchase roofing materials and dumpster to start a roofing job at my home. He cashed the check immediately. The dumpster arrived. We removed the roof into the dumpster and i called him for 3 weeks to start my roof. He called me back this week to say he had spent the $$ that he had been given and couldn’t start the roof because he now doesn’t have money to buy the materials. I now have no roof and out the deposit. He had done work for my mother without an issue once before.
