Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
Email claimed to be an invoice from EDF Energy, a UK company. We have no business with EDF Energy. The email claimed we had to pay a balance of 592.00 British pounds. When I clicked the invoice, my server would not bring me to the page to view the invoice (our server is very protective). The email also used Quickbooks’ logo, which made it seem more legitimate.
