About a week ago I saw a 2001 black Toyota Tacoma on Offer Up. Her daghter had the ad, but her mom sold the car, she moved to FL, that’s where the car is at. Her email is [email protected] She wanted 5 eBay gift cards for $200 each. She said told me to call 408-400-3785 and give him the security numbers from the back of the cards. I bought 2 cards at CVS and 3 at Speedway. None of the clerks asked why I was buying the cards. He told me I would receive the vehicle last Sunday, 6.7.20. The eBay Motor Vehicle Protection Program texted me anonymously asking for an addtional $1000 for insurance. They said the insurance was refundable. I said I don’t have it, and I haven’t heard back from them. I can no longer reach them. I filed a police report.
