Kevin M*** with Eastern Western Transport contacted me on Kijiji in July, responding to my add search for movers from Alberta to Vancouver Island. Kevin offered a good deal and took my email deposit. He cancelled the move at three occasions without any notice, each time with bad excuses. Then he asked me to send him more deposit. Very sketchy, lots of constant excuses. A quick google search proves that I am not the first person that Kevin has scammed for deposits for fake moves. *** *** *** *** ** ***

I placed an ad on kijiji looking for a moving quote. This company contacted me with a very reasonable price to transport my belongings across Canada. I paid Kevin $140 deposit on March 29th and never heard from him since. I have been in contact with the Innisfail RCMP and they have taken on the case however the number I was provided is no longer in service. Several people have been in contact with me telling me they have been scammed as well by this person.

I booked a move from Red Deer to Calgary (I put an ad on Kijiji and they responded) the company took a 130.00 deposit to guarantee the move date. Before I sent the money I checked the website to see if they were legit. The website made them seem like a legit company so I sent the deposit. On moving day they did not show up. It took all day to get in touch with them and when they finally got back to me to say they couldn’t make it, it was 4 PM. They said they would refund my deposit, but never did.
