Type of a scam CryptoCurrency
I was approached by email and that my information was provided by ZipRecruiter.com. I had contacted ZipRecruiter.com and was advised the information can be obtained by users declaring they’re an employer seeking candidates to access the information.
The company Eagilis Software Solutions Inc. offered a position as an Asset Manager. Was interviewed over the phone and was offered the position. The employer request I sign a confidentiality employment contract. The employer assured this was a legitimate company in Canada and provided documents, such as, Certificate of Incorporation (Canada Government Form). When the training began, was advised to accept an etransfer and to retain a service charge of $80 per transaction, and then covert it into Cryptocurrency. As the day progressed, funds of etransfer were blocked by the Fraud Department of the bank. I had inquired of the reasons and provided information that were suspicious. The Bank Institution representative (Fraud Department) advised this is categorized in money laundering, which I emphasis, I did not want to be involved in anything illegal. I was advised due to the nature of the transactions, it would be reported to the Federal Government and my bank account blocked and closed. During the process of communication with my institution, I had contacted the employer by email and wrote a statement of resignation. I was employed by this company for one day.
