I received an email talking about a part-time personal assistant job opportunity through my University of Kentucky email. So I thought it was legit because it was from a UK email address. I was supposed to do tasks each week remotely and he would send me a check in the mail with a sum of money that I than spent until I had 350$ left to keep. It could be spent on google play cards, wire transfers to his so called “clients” , reservations and such. I got the first check and it was put on hold by my bank and eventually deemed fraudulent. This was after I had already wire transferred my own money of 500$ to one of his clients.
