I wanted to renew my Colorado driver’s license online and was routed to this website that looked ‘official’ from Google. I filled out my name, address, telephone number and birth date and they sent me an email with a guide which I was stupid enough to download thinking it was from the state government. Now I have to cancel my credit card (charged me $3.99), debug my phone and notify credit bureaus to freeze my credit.
