I had a medical condition that may have qualified me for a voluntary clinical trial with a possibility of reimbursement for travel and compensation. I went to see if I could participate in a clinical trial, but my medical condition was not severe enough. Fifteen months later, I was billed $500 for an "extended consult" fee. I have not yet paid the fee.
