Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare

My nurse practioner is scamming medicare, medicaid and her patients. After going to my NP for over a year, I finally received my 1st bill and it was for over $900. You can imagine my surprise. After carefully reviewing my bill, I started to notice some odd charges. The 1st few charges that I noticed were for a tobacco cessation class. Now, I have NEVER smoked a day in my life let alone been counseled for tobacco quitting. Then I noticed that I was being charged an extra $100, on top of the $145 office visit, for an extended office visit. I have never been with the NP for more than 10 minutes at a time. I’ve had to wait over an hour in the waiting room. .. but why would I have to pay extra for that? ???? When I brought these billing errors up to my NP as well as her nurse/office manager, they both got very hateful and defensive with me. Within a few days of bringing this to their attention I received a letter telling me to find another dr. There are more examples of this fraud but it is way too much to type. My fiance, who goes to the same NP, has also received bills with fraudulent charges on them. I have tried to report this fraud to medicare but no one seems to care.
