Type of a scam Employment
Posed as Dr. Anderson Kent, offered to be personal driver for charity work, seminars, and vacationing here in the States. He posted a job on indeed for full time and part time drivers in San Antonio, TX. The original arrival date was January 25, 2019 later changed to February 1, 2019 for a 2 week stay. Sent a check in the amount of $4,995.00 to cover first weeks pay, $500, and to cover the rental car fee. However, once I received the funds he told me to send the rest of the money to a separate account for the rental car in the form of money orders. To later find out the check from Woodforest Bank that I deposited into my bank, RBFCU, reported a negative balance in the amount of the check. Not to mention the additional instruction to print out 2 additional checks from different banks.
