Type of a scam Employment
I was contacted thru text message offering me this employment opportunity; since I have been applying for several positions, it seems natural that I was contacted; I later realized that I never applied for this particular company. I was interviewed over Telegram and was told I got the position. Later, I was told that the position required for me to have certain types of hardware and software and that the company will pay for them, they will sent me a direct deposit and Ill have to take care of the logistics and everything else; the odd part is that I was told to pay this vendor thru Cashapp or Zelle, the whole situation seemed off and I ended up rejecting the offer.
I was contacted today by Mr. James Westwood. He offered me a position from skype. I had to download the app because I dont use skype. I felt suspicious when asked to buy a 4 in 1 printer when I told him I already have one. As a matter of fact I have 2, one color and black and white. James Westwood is dead as of 2019 at the age of 89. Yes there are other people with the same name but I am suspicious and will continue to look. Plus I looked under career and the position is not offered.
James Westwood skyped me for a position from Doosan Group. The letter head have them located in NJ but are not registered there. I asked a lot of questions especially about a check they will give to buy equiptment I already have.
