I tried to get a DMV report and this site led me to believe it was the North Carolina DMV site. It asked for $1 to pull my report. After I entered charge card info, the site did not provide any report, instead notified me to go to the NC DMV site for the report and to notify me if I got charged so they could "refund my money." When I received my charge card statement, I had been billed for $1 plus an $18.95 charge. Now I have been billed with another $18.95 charge this month.

Monthly charges began showing up on my bank account statement of $18.95. The charge in August 2016 (DMVDataRecords.com) was under a different company/website name, address, and phone number than the one in September 2016 (DMVRecordsnow.com). Without knowing, I allegedly signed up for a monthly service when I ordered a copy of my driving record in order to dismiss a ticket. When I called the first phone number, I was told the service was cancelled and given a cancellation number. When I called the second number, I was told that I had cancelled my service already and it was cancelled the same day. The telemarketer told me that they were the same company. I asked why it is listed under different company names on my bank statement. She assured me that all MY account information was the same. She refunded two $18.95 charges to my account at my request but these charges caused my bank account to overdraft and I am left with nearly $50 in overdraft fees from my bank.
