Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I was contacted by someone Shahzad on phone that his company is helping people by paying their utility bills, credit card payments to half. He said that his company will pay all the bills up to $10,000 first and then they will ask for only 50% payment from the consumers.
I told them that my cell phone bill for one year is a250.00, they promised me to pay in full first and then I should pay them half to settle the account. I was obviously amazed by this offer, so I agreed and they had paid 200.00 amount and later I paid another tel bill of 300.00. So total it was 500.00 and I paid them 250.00 to clear all the bills.
I got official receipts from two tel companies of the payment they received. So far the matter is going smooth.
I never know that this was a fraud, a scam.
My son has received a subpoena from grand jury that this is a fraud you are involved. By chance his and my first/last names are same.
