Type of a scam Online Purchase

I was targeted by a sponsored Facebook ad for a Black Friday sale for an automatic litter box cleaner. I wasn’t thinking and clicked the site to order where I added my address, email, phone and credit card number. I immediately got a confirmation email about my order making it look like the transaction was legitimate. In the email it asks you to click a link to view the order and complete the credit card transaction. Then again you click a link to another site to enter your credit card info. Being taken to another site should have been a clue that this was not legitimate.

I got a fraud alert from my credit card company (triggered because the purchase went to the UK) and i immediately cancelled my card number. I reported the site on Facebook.

After reviewing the site more closely and seeing there was only an email address to contact someone, I should have known this was fake.

Also when I searched Facebook, more of their ads came up under different sponsored ad under a different website. Another was called martxplus.com with the same email address.

I tried to email the email address and have received no response.
