Type of a scam Employment
I received a Priority Mail envelope with sketchy directions on being a secret shopper for Walmart cards. It, also, contained a check for $2,450.42 written to me. The instructions had me deposit the check and buy $2000 worth of Walmart gift cards, I was then asked to send them the codes from the cards and report back with how transactions were handled. If I completed the task within 24 hours I was offered an additional $150 bonus. I never contacted this company nor filled out an application to be a shopper. I may be older, but I’m not stupid. Who sends a check in the mail for that amount of money. Total scam I’m sure.
