On Wednesday afternoon at about 1:15 pm I received a call from a Mark (marc) Anthony, he left me a message saying that is was very important that I call him, he told me in the message that if I didn’t call him back he would start taking legal action against me. I call the number back & it was busy, so on Thursday morning I called the number: (766-226-9404) and the person who answered his name was Alex,, he proceeded to tell me that I was in
violation of several things: 1: filing my taxes late, (back in 2013), 2, that I committed fraud in Florida, ( I’ve never been there) 3, that I was also being investigated for bank fraud,. When he was talking to me, he said: Alex: I’m going to read you something & explain all the charges against you, please don’t interrupt till I’m finished. Me: ok, Ales he read what I thought sounded like he was reading a script. When he was finished I asked him: me: ok if what you say is true I need copies sent to me, stating that I did & owe what you say, plus I want prof of the fraud that you said I committed in Florida, Alex: could you hold for a minute? me: yes, he came back on the line & told me that I had 7 days to pay the amount owing or make payment arrangiments, or they would be forced to proceed with legal action against me, & that I was not entitled to any copies of what I owed. He also told me I could my lawyer call them. When I got off the phone I thought nope I’m not buying this & decided to call the ScamPulse.com. I also called the bbb in florida & spoke with them, I was able to get the name of the company, by blocking my number & calling the number back, "Dept of Legal Affairs" is what I got when I did this. If I thought it would do me any good I would like to sue this person, or persons. But knowing it would not, I decided that I could call & report this so some other person is not scammed.
