Type of a scam Tax Collection
A Mark Hansen (spoke with an Indian accent?) left a message on my phone saying he was with the Dept. of Legal Affairs for the U.S. Treasury. We were to return his phone call right away to avoid legal action for money owed. He gave the phone number of: 347-933-6679. I looked this number up on the internet and SCAM came up immediately. Looking further, it gave an address of Hyde Park, NY and a small picture of a used car lot with a building, but name was unknown.
