They text advising that I was a winner. That they help eradicate poverty. They ask you for your name, address, zip code and monthly income. They text back and advise that you have been selected as a winner and that you can choose a winning amount as long as you pay the administration fee.

The group states I have a grant for $9000,000.00and for a shipping and other fees, the money would be at my door next day. I was contacted on Facebook thru a friend (she didn’t have a clue she had been hacked)

Contact via Facebook. They said if my name was on a list (which it was) I would receive a cash ‘grant’ from DHHS designed to help older, retired, disabled individuals. The initial contact was to an individual on Facebook and ‘she’ directed me. They wanted 1000.00 to cover FedEx and processing and ‘claim’ that they will deliver 50K cash w/in 7 hours. The odd thing is an old friend contacted me via Facebook and told me she had just received money via this contact. They have pushed hard to get the $$ 1K with multiple messages. Is this legit?? I am very skeptical about this. Appreciate you input.
