This 800 number called, a recording advised me that my social security number had been stolen, they advised a federal warrent has been issued against me and that my arrest will be made. If I wanted to speak to the officer now press 1. So I did. They connected me to a woman who hardly spoke English. She asked for my name after saying ‘ this is the social security office, how can I help you?’ I said idk you called me. After she asked for my name she advised a warrent was issued for me but needed my social to identify who I was .. when I told her NO… She hung up on me.
