On my college email I got a part time job offer (from: [email protected] which looks like my school’s email address). This email was saying that I could make $250 a week plus $50 for gas if I put an advertisement on my car and drove my normal route. I was thinking "Hey that a lot of money for something I’m already doing. This advertisement was for the 2021 Olympics. I requested more information about what the ad looked like and how long I’d be required to keep the ad on my car. A different email (the one listed above) from the "olympics2021" replied with a detailed background of the company. They said the professionals in every major city would apply and remove the ad with no damage to the car. They describes the program to require the decals be kept for a minimum of 2 months or for a maximum of 6 months. They did not include an image of the advertisement (go figure). I wasn’t until I tried googling an image of the "Olympics 2021 car advertisement" that a bunch of "car wrap scam" articles came up.

Received an email through my student account form a university email address about a car wrap for TOKYO 2020 olympics. Applied and got accepted but did some research and heard that they need you to pay for the wrap before the check goes through then you are out the money for it.
