I received an email from my college, that turned out to be a phishing scheme, the idea was that I would get paid to put an ad on my car and all I had to do was drive around. I initially went for it because I received a check in the mail, as expected from the scammer supposedly named Mark Wilson. I thought that since there was a check it seemed legit and it seemed that none of my money was at risk. However, after seeing the check in the bank account I went ahead and paid for the wrap with supposedly their money, but a couple days later the check bounced and I was out $200
