Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I’m a real estate agent and I received a call from a woman who claimed she was a buyer looking for a Realtor and she asked if I work I specific area of town. I answered "yes, I work all over Columbus". The conversation was a little suspicious but I thought maybe she was just different. I had to let her go and asked if I could call her back. After I showed a house, I called her back and she answered but said nothing. I finally said Hello and then she spoke. I then realized this was fake and quickly tried to get off the phone. I don’t know what she could possibly do w my voice but hearing of the recent scams, I wanted to report it.
