Scammer impersonated multiple individuals at the organization, Demos, by copying a job description and staff photos from the website creating three fake email addresses accompanying fake job posts. Google hangout interviews were set up, fake job offers were made, and fake checks were sent to buy equipment for the fake job, followed by requests to reimburse part of the check amount.
